As a homeschooling mom to two kiddos, I missed the experience and excitement of school picture day. So naturally, as a photographer - I made sure that my children had school pictures every year. I wasn't the only one with these sentiments, so I started offering "Modern School Portraits" to others in the homeschool community.  My style of school pictures became popular beyond the homeschool community, and DMV School Portraits was born! 
Along with my husband, son, and niece - we enjoy partnering with local schools and centers to offer a different and better photo day experience!
